Ismael Ibrahim Daoud, born in 1980 in Gaza. Born in an artistic family, his father Ibrahim Daoud was the Supervisor of musical activities at the municipality of education in Gaza. Ismael grew up loving music and art. he started playing percussion first the darbouka and then drums. he has been an active member of the musicscene in Gaza, participating in a number of local festivals. After graduating high school, Ismael received a scholarship to study music in Tunis. He holds a Masters degree in Music and Musicology and is now working on his PhD. He has been back in Gaza and teaching at the Edward Said Music Conservatory since 2012.
