Guests / MUNA SHARIF

Muna Sharif is a PalestinianAmerican organizer based in Anaheim, California and an associate field organizer with Amnesty International. She is the former Director of the Jibreel Project, a campaign designed to inspire community action and resistance to state oppression through the mobilization of students via education, engagement and action. Under the umbrella of Muslim Students Association West, Muna is leading an initiative to mobilize communities who have been historically inactive in politics, against oppressive state implemented policies. Her work has been primarily focused on investigating surveillance and policing initiatives instituted by local and federal agencies, targeting communities of color.
