He is a board member of the Kuwaiti Human Rights Organization and coordinated several civil society ‘shadow conferences’

Anwar Al-Rasheed has been President of the Gulf Civil Society Forum since 2007. He also works as a journalist and political analyst, member of the Kuwaiti Journalists’ Association, international observer of elections across the region and was Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Arab world Elections Network. He is a board member of the Kuwaiti Human Rights Organization and coordinated several civil society ‘shadow conferences’ in parallel with conferences of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
