Alaa'eddin Abdulmawla is a Syrian poet and critic who now lives in Mexico. He has published over ten poetry collections and five books in literary criticism. Abdulmawla has also published his work in major Syrian and Arab magazines, and his poetry is translated into a number of languages - mainly into Spanish.
